Spring Valley

On motorcycles today! Barb wanted to see our land so it was 120 miles from their home north of Dumont to our land north of Divide. Great weather! I hadn't been to Spring Valley in 7 yrs or more. We have 2 acres from here down to Shadow Lake. That's Pikes Peak in the distance. It's been our dream for almost 30 yrs to retire to this view. It's delayed now while we take in views across the USA for a few years. 

We were lucky and missed the rain on the way back to Happy Thought Ranch but Hoosier Pass was 50 degrees! There was fresh snow at the higher elevations around us. Nice evening warming up with hot chocolate and peppermint kahlua.
Having fun with Barb & Bill until Tuesday when Barb and I join favorite quilties in Dillon. YEA!
